@drewmccormack Does "QuickTime APIs" include QTKit?
Now I'm getting annoyed. AVPlayerView is 10.9 only. I currently support 10.7. So I have to move to 10.9 or build my own player view?

@drewmccormack Your own player view is probably preferable anyway. There are a few sample ones around and I'm happy to send you one later. -
@sgaw I just need something really simple. Just a play button really. Not even a timeline. Any suggestions? Maybe I should do my own. -
@drewmccormack Doing your own is pretty simple, particularly if it just a play/pause button. Shout if you want some code however.
