      it's one of the few businesses (besides tech ig) where there is a serious right tail to potential comp, you just have to assume and act on the notion that everyone is a ruthless capitalist

      Susquehanna is sort of an extreme example though, Jeff yass is a noted mega-libertarian/Rand acolyte and has been known to freak out at people for trying to leave, they famously enforce noncompetes pretty heavily. Trading firm culture isn't totally monotone imo
