Look I'm not pro intervention in Libya, but I'm also not pro intervention in general. Let's not pretend like Gaddafi didn't fund plenty of overseas wars himself in the 80/90s, or that he didn't do the Lockerbie bombing. We should be capable of nuance regarding historical figures

“Look I'm not pro intervention in Libya” heres your problem when you attempt to isolate that. Intervention was needed to bring them to heel and serve a purpose for the west. There is a reason bombs were dropped versus covert assassinations that happened in other states

And that's before we even touch on the corruption, or the insane amount of weath he funneled out of the country to his immense personal benefit. I'm not saying he didn't help Libya in a lot of ways but his record is extremely checkered at best
