You do MEV and have to testify in front of congress - how are you framing this as value adding to the ecosystem?

If you're a liquidator the answer is "I'm the one keeping this entire system from going to shit when a levered account goes underwater" Every lender needs a collector.

I guess the hft parallel here is that liquidations inherently good but arms race to be the one to get the liquidation is at times wasteful.

maybe more gas efficiency = less wasted block space? (which translates to carbon savings?)
