If my understanding is correct, you want to be close to a relay, not globally distributed. You’d likely get a better answer in the flashbots discord
Yes I was wondering exactly this!!! The FB relay is in the US-ohio datacenter so do I only care about my ping to the relay if I'm using MEV-geth?

Most likely. I imagine it depends what % of your bundles you send to flashbots. However, now that I think about it, being globally distributed may give you a better view of the mempool for pending oracle updates. So, there's trade-offs/ optimizations
