based on my math it looks like anywhere between 500-1000 a month for a managed node, then multiply by however many nodes you need which for defi liquidations is "as many as possible globally" and thats probably what makes it really get expensive

If my understanding is correct, you want to be close to a relay, not globally distributed. You’d likely get a better answer in the flashbots discord

Yes I was wondering exactly this!!! The FB relay is in the US-ohio datacenter so do I only care about my ping to the relay if I'm using MEV-geth?
