I’m totally the opposite. Cloud sucks. Handing over the keys to your application performance and then having to make up the difference with distributed systems scaling by the dollar, no thanks.

Yeah, I get it, but I am also familiar with the late-blooming cloud problems like instance preemption and egress charges, + it makes everything harder, and I truly think (like so much saas stuff) it’s all about a IT depts finding local minima of blamelessness.
