I’m totally the opposite. Cloud sucks. Handing over the keys to your application performance and then having to make up the difference with distributed systems scaling by the dollar, no thanks.
I think it really depends on the application requirements and what your infra spend looks like, I'm sure Dimon doesn't want to own more data centers than he absolutely has to

Yeah, I get it, but I am also familiar with the late-blooming cloud problems like instance preemption and egress charges, + it makes everything harder, and I truly think (like so much saas stuff) it’s all about a IT depts finding local minima of blamelessness.
