And for the "but it's just water!" crowd, this is the salt buildup from 24 hours of flow. This stuff is literally toxic, and it's been flowing into my aquifers for years. @Chevron #CVXblowoutpic.twitter.com/n85bKPxrmE

Do you have any proof of your claims that it’s been flowing into your aquifers for years? Water samples taken year over year? Definitive tests from well intervention that show leaks at acquirer level from years ago that were never repaired?
do you not believe that chevron would pollute ground water
No. I’ve worked for majors in the past. It’s the last thing in the world they want & you can see them move heaven & earth right now to fix these minor leaks. You are obviously taking the incorrect position that oil companies = bad /polluters & you are showing major ignorance.
Oil and gas industry hater, Emily’s, comment was “would”, not “could”. As a landowner, but also a person who has worked many years on the operator side of the business, all I can tell you is that this is a minor issue that will be easily resolved (& is being done so right now).
i love natty tinycos as much as the next trader (except for @drewg__ ), but it can be bad for the environment
There has never been a greater force for good in this world than the oil & gas industry. Low cost energy is the single biggest reason for massive human progress and also for environmental cleanliness. The idea that it’s bad for the environment is very shallow.
lmao, okay bro
