Sure but the Concorde was never profitable without eight-figure government subsides. Boom's innovation isn't the speed it's the unit economics of the planes

Agree, I think the press has kind of missed the boat on what makes booms business interesting! There's also the significant work theyve done on sonic boom mitigation which opens up the possibility of overland routes, very interesting stuff imo
