not that it makes a difference but the letter writer didn’t actually specify that it was indoor dining
It does make a difference because only indoors is high risk, a review of 7300 cases found only one outbreak that occurred outdoors. It totally changes the moral caculus on if you should end a friendship. And I would feel the same even if they were reckless and hadn't gotten covid

I'm curious if you think it's worth ending a friendship over racist behavior? I'm just wondering where you draw the line on activities that are damaging to a community and why covid-risky behavior is exempt from moral judgement
