I think there's something to it when you're young (up to mid-twenties? I dunno) but if you have a family and own a home and stuff it's a little odd to me. something to be said for lack of attachment I guess.

I guess I just don't like this kind of mentality that these real places with unqiue history and culture are totally fugible, laying down roots in your community is underrated
