Actually I don’t think NYC DSA is so reflexively NIMBY. There is a decent working goal of upzoning the richest areas, hopefully this could be combined with the building on the huge amount of city and utility owned land

think if you jacked up the % reserved for affordable housing to a high enough level it would be easy to get them on board
