Y'all never look at return on investment for employees given that is what your business truly is? I'm sure the kid is worth it but that is kind of silly if true.
assuming this is at a hedge fund, i am genuinely curious to know if you think this is an efficient use of investors capital? The only funds that can hire like this all use passthrough fee schemes, i cant imagine LPs would be psyched to get this bill

HF employee compensation is a management company expense, not a direct LP expense. No HF would get through the due diligence process that type of provision in their docs.
