IMO it will make tech engineering more like banking engineering, where a small eng contingent is kept stateside for high value projects while all the "keeping the lights on"/back office type of tech work is outsourced or otherwise cost-cut
So begins labor cost-cutting in tech. Pretty soon they'll be opening a Bengaluru office and cutting headcount in the US, I would bet on it.
