Two different startups have been advertising mail-order ED drugs to me in the last year. Does this mean there are more young people with erectile dysfunction than I realized or that more gays are taking viagra recreationally?

I kinda assumed the gay recreational use aspect played a part since I see the ads on gr*ndr all the time but if they’re advertising on the subway I guess there is more than a niche market out there!

Oh yeah the marketing language is definitely very broad Imo they are probably trying to 1) expand the total market size by destigmatizing use for insecure dudes and 2) eat up the preexisting underground/illicit market for those already using recreationally
