Don’t miss this multi-layered 2019 BTS interview with famed @NPR theme song composer @BJLeiderman on @dreampathpod podcast. “…buttons and bleebles” Steely Dan, audio cognition and so much more. What a joy. #music #radio #audio #musician #podcast music.amazon.com/podcasts/bdcff

Sunil Perkash is a big deal in Hollywood, but his passion is indie film production. Check out our chat in the bio. We talk about producing Salt, Enchanted, and dystopian thriller Last Survivors starring Drew Van Acker, and Stephen Moyer.

"You spent your entire life doing a job that some trained monkey could do. You're stuck in here, same as me." The Last Shift (2020) is a film that holds a mirror up to racism, classism, …and our prejudices toward essential workers.

I love talking to creatives who become great by diving in head first. No film school. They just start making movies. Great movies. Check out my chat with @AndrewPCohn about how his film The Last Shift (starring Richard Jenkins and @ShanePaulMcGhie) came together.

This interview was personal for me. Artist manager and concert promoter Ken Kinnear talks about creating and managing Heart, but also shares about his friendship with my late father. Longer chat than most but so many great stories make it fly by.

Watching Salt (2010, Jolie, Schreiber) as prep for an interview tomorrow. So many extras and massive on-location action scenes with tons of cast and crew in uncontrolled public spaces. Post pandemic these films just can’t be made in this manner. Complete paradigm shift.

So far at 2022 I've watched When You Finish Saving The World, Emergency, Fresh, Watcher, and Speak No Evil. All so different, but with one thing in common: they all told stories that have never been told before. Kudos to everyone who made it into Sundance this year!

There is no more precious commodity than time. Yes, time is a commodity. We exchange it for money at work and we give it away for free to social media corporations while getting nothing meaningful in return. As we approach 2022, think of how to best use this commodity.
