People watch for not just the persona but also the ever evolving scenes that are created. There's a lot of great editing and scene creation that makes Doc separate from other boring streams.

Hey, the bathroom thing was a bad idea...but so was Kotaku. And between the two, only one really has a place in that toilet. Outlets like Kotaku and others write stuff like this to get rage clicks from fans because streamers dwarf their numbers in terms of engagement.

Kotaku like pretty much all of the videogames media nowadays is full of progressive loonies who think they exist to gatekeep and protect people from bad words and "toxicity" on the internet. So obviously Doc is basically Satan to them.
