Why, after this long do we not have an antigen test for the virus, like we do with the flu? From what I’ve read the pcr test is highly unreliable. Thank God there are more effective treatments becoming available

True! Rapid test saves lives

Protecting the vulnerable is a much more efficient way to save lives. 80% of deaths are in the 70 & over group. Also can help protect younger ones with risk factors. Testing isn’t a panacea. False positives are being ignored as occur quite often in younger asymptomatic persons.
