    Wonderful history lesson about the history of by Dr. Hilton Francis. Started his career the year that Fibromyalgia became recognized 1976. So much experience and wisdom delivered in a direct manner—loved it! Too many good slides to include!

    Good to see that most Rheumatologists from Malaysia and Singapore believe in . Not sure it would be as high in the US where some rheumatologists reject the very clear data. Similar however, most med schools in Malaysia do not teach FM

    Sad but true. And unlike certain field where stress is intrinsic to the nature of the job (ER doc, firefighter...), we do it to ourselves. We’ve also eroded more and more aspects that used to be delightful. We need to stop, take a collective breath and re-order some priorities.

    When I was physician addicted to opiates used to mean first my mouth, then my stomach, then blood stream, then my brain. (See memoir Free Refills: ) So grateful to be free of all that & to be free to help other people!! Recovery is the best.
