I agree with you on most things, but having seen the police officers body cam footage, my view on the situation changed entirely. At most the cop can be charged for involuntary manslaughter or even plain negligance. The race baiting here isn't doing anyone any favors.

You have my respect for your work but... Due process. Murder II gets you 40 years in prison. Involuntary Manslaughter is under 10. Misconduct or assault even less. These distinctions should be made justly, not to appease the public.

I’ve been watching the trial. It’s clear from the video what happened but the defence just have to cast doubt in the jury’s mind that there was ‘intent’. I really hope they have no doubt, the video to me shows intent, & from the shit cop that stood & watched.
