Why??? Why not social distance cancel events and flatten out the curve? Do we have more respirators and beds then every other state or projection shows?

Why? Do you have some data that says we're less vulnerable than Italy or other states?
-
Yes, where is this data AZ is relying upon? Everything I’ve seen across the country and across the world indicates exponential spread, slowly but surely.https://www.abc15.com/news/region-phoenix-metro/central-phoenix/as-many-as-70-000-az-residents-could-have-coronavirus-according-to-cdc-models …

I might be crazy but I am going to go with
@TucsonRomero 50 people or less recommendation on this one. We can’t keep complicating our relationship with reality. -
Can you please explain your logic here ? does the virus somehow have a respect for the number of people that are gathered? If one person within the 50 person congregation has it you ended with the same result as if you are gathering with 200 or 500 and so on. Shut it down now !!!

Wow. This fifth generation AZ native is just shaking her head. The entire country is closing down and AZ is all, “carry on!”

Why wouldn’t you cancel events now? Wouldn’t that help flatten the curve of infection?

I get the complexity and potential downside of closing schools — this issue is debatable. But recommending social distancing for ALL and cancellation of large events is a no-brainer. You seem like a very decent human being and very intelligent so I’m baffled by your decision

My thoughts exactly
