4/ The end result was in this particular group of our users, the No Trial group after onboarding wound up generating about 200% more revenue than the Free Trial group. In our case, this will boost our monthly revenue by about $20k, and annually roughly $240k/year.

What kept me up at night - Year 0-1: Product. Are we building something people want? - Year 2: Technical. Will we be able to learn how to scale at this pace without outages? -Year 3+: People. How are we going to keep hiring great people without culture degradation?

I'm looking for a few business owners who use Facebook ads for a story about Apple's privacy changes. If that's you and you want to talk, please email me: sara.morrison@recode.net

🔥 “ARR is a SaaS term where SaaS companies have high retention, usually 80%+ gross and ideally 100%+ net revenue retention. In CSS, great annual retention is 70%, so the use of ARR is weakened as the definition of “recurring” is weaker.” ― in a community AMA.

People compare startups to sprinting or running marathons but it's more like a race where you have to maintain a minimum pace like the movie Speed but also solve escape room puzzles to know where you're supposed to run to next

I've been told by two credible sources that Apple will begin policing in-app fingerprinting in late Q3 / early Q4 of this year. No details about the mechanic that will be used, so this is still my best guess as to how Apple would accomplish that: (1/X)

Kids apps folks- can I include AdServices.framework in an app for kids, or will it get rejected like iAd? I'm not seeing any concrete guidance from Apple.

Hopefully next time you hear about visa quotas, green card lotteries, "America first", or exploitative companies taking advantage of immigrants on visas, you realize there are people like me behind those things who fear about their future because of a ridiculous system.

Translation: if you're an immigrant with a Bachelor's degree in STEM, and an offer from a US company, this year you only have a 26% chance of scoring a visa and actually being able to move to the US for that job.

Ex-AWS employee: "Amazon took an unprecedented toll on my mental and physical health. I immensely regret all the time I didn’t spend with my family, the friendships that faded, and the constant reminder from leaders how I could always do better - nothing was ever good enough."
