Oh no! I would love to know this and see how we can avoid it in the future.

Youtube don't actually provide creators with a reason for the demonetisation, that's the most frustrating part of the issue we've all been facing this past year. I'll put an appeal in and see what happens

While we can't cover specifics, we know the system don't always get it right and in that case, an expert reviewer can manually update the monetization status. Thanks for appealing.

Do you guys provide a specific reason when an appeal reviewed by a human is declined?

Nope, because that would reveal why the internal AI failed which you could then game

Do the even give you an area? Profanity, nudity, harassment or some kind of overarching umbrella?

I've not heard of them doing even that but not sure as I can't ask reviews.

Nope, you won’t get any information at all. They seem to prioritise us not gaming the system over us trying to meet their requirements with proper feedback. However, various theories around reading the code on the page may help indicate why - if they haven’t already hidden it.

They removed the excluded_ads tag so can't use that anymore to see why

They are not interested in system predictability, if you want to game youtube ... then go to YouTube Gaming ... #sorryforbadjoke
