Foreskins wouldn't be such a controversial body part if people would stop cutting them off babies.

Before you go explaining your reasons to support circumcising boys, ask yourself if the same reason would justify cutting girls to any degree. If the answer is no, how do you justify that double standard? If it's yes, congratulations on being consistent, as well as barbaric.

So what does this all mean? That you cannot have any functional parts of your body removed without medical necessity or your own informed consent unless you're a baby with a penis. In this case, you can have your functional body parts removed for religious or cultural reasons.

There is also consensus in the medical community that circumcision is not medically necessary. Whether it is advantageous at all is a topic of hot debate internationally, but it is agreed upon even by the AAP that it is unnecessary.

Infants are given constitutional rights from birth and legally recognized as persons, and it is a very thoroughly established fact, agreed upon with a near-universal consensus in the medical community that the parts of the penis lost in circumcision are not vestigial.

The answer typically given for every human, regardless of biological sex or identity, is that there must either be informed consent of the person whose body is being operated on or medical necessity with parental consent in the case of persons who are unable to give consent.

Under what circumstances is it ethical to amputate a functional bodily structure? Sex and gender don't have to enter into that conversation.

It is not fair to equate intactivism with misogyny. The two are actually quite harmonious. You just have to say that EVERYONE should be afforded the right of bodily autonomy. No one should be forced to bear a child, and no one's body should be cut up without their consent.

Will we ever take the circumcision conversation seriously? I mean the foreskin is the male’s main erogenous zone. Society has normalized the genital mutualion of babies and we really gonna act like that’s not concerning?
