Both methods can me misused once. Without 2FA aadhar based txns are wide open to replay attacks. Already been exploited.

For replay based attack you need an insider to access the device. With signature you need pen/paper. Which is more secure?

Why would I need an insider? The fingerprint scanner can store the f'print hash and along with the Aadhar number, you have e'thing you need.

You'll need JIO/Bank retailer to give access to his scanner to you. When the subject complains he'll be tracked since his device was used.

You'll need access to pass the hash to server using his device.

Now compare it to how you forge a xerox or a signature. No need of an insider, and not auditable. Which is more secure?
