Just been reading through the Nuzlocke adventures of @adventure_rules and @dragonsteaparty (separately, although a joint one would be pretty epic!) and it's making me want to try one of my own...

You should definitely give it a try! I've really surprised myself with how far I've got so far (the elite 4 finale is coming I'm just taking my time!) A joint one would be really cool actually! A Bloglocke where another blogger chooses your team?

Ooh, that would be interesting! The joint format I have seen done before is a Soul Link, which is a co-op Nuzlocke where each of your Pokemon is linked to your partner's team. If they lose someone, you lose the linked partner. You also can't double-up on types. Very challenging!

INCREDIBLY difficult! I'm only really good enough at Pokemon to be able to get through the games with no major issues, but not good enough to have any kind of knowledge or strategy, so I think my first challenge will have to be a bit... less challenging!

I definitely don't recommend it as a first-time challenge. Standard Nuzlocke is probably the best option starting out.

Would you guys feel I was stepping on your toes if I did do my own Nuzlocke fairly soon? I was thinking perhaps I’d do one on my own, since I’m new to it, then see if we could work out some way of collaboratively Bloglocking - but I’m happy to wait until yours are done!
