I just ordered a Nintendo Switch!!! FINALLY. I don't know what my first game should be though... Have I missed the boat a bit on Animal Crossing? Also at the top of the list is Pokemon, Link's Awakening, Mario Kart... Any recommendations?

You've never "missed the boat"- there's always lots of fun things to do in AC! Plus, now your friends can give you lots of cool stuff
But anyway, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Link's Awakening, Pokemon are all solid choices! Can't go wrong with any of them.
Good point! My friend said she'll give me loads of stuff if I get AC 
so that's tempting!
