I just ordered a Nintendo Switch!!! FINALLY. I don't know what my first game should be though... Have I missed the boat a bit on Animal Crossing? Also at the top of the list is Pokemon, Link's Awakening, Mario Kart... Any recommendations?

I loved Link's Awakening and it has become one of my favorite Zelda titles, top 5 easy. Of course Animal Crossing is also great - it's ultimately a bigger version of all the good stuff they have done before, so if you've enjoyed a previous AC chances are you'll like this one too.
I haven't actually played any other AC games other than Pocket Camp, which I did like. Maybe I'll get that and Link's awakening!
