I loved Link's Awakening and it has become one of my favorite Zelda titles, top 5 easy. Of course Animal Crossing is also great - it's ultimately a bigger version of all the good stuff they have done before, so if you've enjoyed a previous AC chances are you'll like this one too.

I haven't actually played any other AC games other than Pocket Camp, which I did like. Maybe I'll get that and Link's awakening!

It's never too late to start Animal Crossing. There's still a ton of people playing :) If you like RPGs, get Dragon Quest 11. Incredible game. Mario Odyssey and Luigi;s Mansion 3 are also great entries.

I didn't know Dragon Quest was on it! Added to the list!

You've never "missed the boat"- there's always lots of fun things to do in AC! Plus, now your friends can give you lots of cool stuff
But anyway, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Link's Awakening, Pokemon are all solid choices! Can't go wrong with any of them. -
Good point! My friend said she'll give me loads of stuff if I get AC
so that's tempting! - Show replies

Mario odyssey made me smile from ear to ear every time I played it.

I've watched a Let's Play of that and it looks like so much fun! I'm just hesitant about it because it's a couple of years old now but still a bit pricey. Nintendo games don't seem to get cheaper though as time goes by

Animal Crossing is definitely a great choice! I'd highly recommend the Dragon Quest series that was recently ported (1, 2 and 3) and I personally had a blast playing River City Girls. You can never go wrong with games like Mario Kart though!

-
I'd never heard if Rover City Girls but just Googled it and that sounds like great fun!
