How do people work out what they want to do for a career? All I know is I don’t want to be doing what I’m doing right now, but no idea where to go or how I would find something that did suit me. All my experience is in stuff I want to not be doing any more!
Literally going through exactly this right now 
I have absolutely no idea. What I'm doing now doesn't seem to suit me but I'm not qualified for anything else.
