I think we have to consider that most visions of afterlife have two distinct places for good people and bad people. Dante's Inferno even went deeper than that with the hell's circles. So there's this possibility that you'll be only among your equals

That’s the thing about the concept of heaven. Normal rules don’t have to apply so your “heaven” doesn’t necessarily have to overlap with someone else’s.
