So... a bit of positive personal news. Thread ⬇️ One day, in late July, one of my dearest online adversaries decided to call me fat. Four times. In four separate tweets. I’m unsure what their initial motivation was, but it was likely following one of our little spats...

The company that removed Dozy's poster made it clear it was about the campaign motives so let's have a little reminder of the person behind it for those banging on about censorship.

Meanwhile in the real world my daughter has to put up with a little girl telling her “you’re a boy!” x10 and when she says she isn’t another one says don’t listen to “him”. I confront the mother about it and she’s so uncomfortable I know exactly where they got it from. 😢

It's so heart-breaking. Children learn prejudice from grown-ups. Better education and schools being proactive in preventing and tackling transphobic bullying can help to make the world a safer, happier place

I’m on tomorrow talking about the Liverpool poster thing. Really want to nail this awful transphobia ONCE AND FOR ALL. This is it. Over. Pick a team. Going face to face with someone who doesn’t believe in any trans person. I’m defending ALL T ❤️

I wonder if really know who they’ve invited onto their sofa tomorrow? I’m sure Posie Parker will say “How can a definition of ‘woman’ on a billboard offend anyone?” Maybe if they knew what she says to trans people behind the scenes?

Horrible case here. Woman sexually assaulted underage girls, including assault by penetration. At least one of them said "No". If this were a trans woman it would be on the front page of every paper and we'd be having a debate about which prison she's in.

You have literally no idea of the upset, distress and offence you have caused. It's not a joke. Seriously, educate yourself about neuro-diversity and mental health. Be better as a human being. I stand fully with our Disabled Members against your vile hateful behaviour.

They are ringing around trying to organise a "sexier debate" on if trans children are a danger to cis kids. This will be damaging to trans kids safety - is this true , and why are you not hosting responsible debate with experts, not hate groups!?

Why the hate? Why the need to associate her with being a rapist or a paedophile. Some people really need to look at themselves and examine their motivess for doing this

The way Dr. Christine Blasey Ford has been dismissed as confused or deceptive by members of the committee and the guy in the White House before they'd even heard her testimony is the most appalling and naked display of misogyny and men protecting men that I can ever recall seeing

Mumsnet claim to be an accurate cross section of social attitudes, despite spending all their time telling everyone from the likes of the NSPCC, Girl Guides, Ocado, Topshop, The Labour Party, The TUC, the NHS, Local councils across the country, etc etc etc that they are all wrong

I love this internet culture of: 1. Person goes online and does/says horrible things 2. People rightfully react and call out horrible things done/said 3. Person goes on the defensive, makes self a victim, and claims people rightfully annoyed/angry are haters/trolls/bullies

Such an honour to be invited by Commissioner Cressida Dick to speak to senior officers about the importance of the police service being representative of the communities it serves.

Harassing marginalized people to intimidate is terrorism. If you put up a message outside a gay health clinic designed to make LGB people feel unsafe, it's terrorism. If you put up a message meant to intimidate Muslims outside a mosque, it's terrorism

This was a terrorism campaign from a fringe group of transphobes run by a woman who advocates for the forced sterilization of trans men. She doesn't speak for women

So... thank you online adversary. Your little bit of online name calling has done me the world of good, and I’m pleased that I was able to turn your little bit of targeted “fat shaming” into something much more positive and productive! 😉👍🏼 End.
