One naive way one could estimate this correlation is by taking currently-living perfectly-fertile people and correlating their number of children with the GWAS results. This is vulnerable to bias due to not counting the children they will have later.

This negative genetic selection on intelligence, educational attainment, and childhood IQ is an under-appreciated trend, especially by professional trend-watchers.

We should bear a thought for the hereditarians who, for at least a century, have been predicting this would happen. On the one hand, they have been constantly vilified, but on the other hand their predictions turned out to be correct. Funny how that works!
