Everyone is conditioned to find the “Get out of my way” button as quickly as possible.

The biggest revelation for me has been "you can click no and things still work". The ideal would be a "get out of my way AND set the fewest cookies possible with none from a third party" but hoping for that universally might be too much.
Complete disaster and completely predictable/ 've had one block internet banking dialog when buying a parking ticket on my iPhone. Couldn't get rid of it.
And still most are not compliant with GDPR due to opt-ins, non-specific purposes, and it being harder to decline than consent.
The huge lists of third parties are not a solution, but they do point to the original problem of unbounded leakage of personal data. If the regulator follows up to any great degree these lists should be much reduced.
