    Hardcore WMI question: how in use are the WBEM standards in linux? Is that the closest "thing" to Windows WMI/CIM? Very hard to get straight answers... anyone know where I should look for more info? I'm willing to RTFM, please point me to the right FM. :-)

    why do so many tutorials show the millions steps to do it properly rather than what i need which is some hacked together tool that does one thing and doesn't need 3 months of waterfall development cycles and error checking and classes made etc... just how do i do this thing once!
