    Women who want to attend tech Meetups/events in Seattle, . As an organizer, I take this very seriously. For we make sure to create ways for attendees to find us if they're uncomfortable. Thanks for bringing attention to this 🙌

    I mentored someone whose boss DM’d them saying “Hey if you’re on twitter, why can’t you respond to the email I sent an hour ago?” At 10pm. Managers, respect people’s personal time, ffs 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Many things make me happy around this time of year, but flying out to our hackathon all the way from Chicago is easily the happiest thing so far. Thank you for bringing the energy that every community needs! Positive and thoughtful and infinitely curious ✨

    It's funny, early on in my career I wanted to make a sound-based experience for my grandma who is blind, but VR headsets are too clunky. Maybe now I can prototype! I know nothing about sound but hoping to learn more 👂Any tips?

    When I tried for the first time, I was more impressed with the audio than the holograms. Navigating a space purely from spatial sound cues felt so natural...and fun! I'm curious to see (hear) how the community plays with sound.

    Tech can be an exhausting industry to work in. Hype after hype, device after device, launch after launch. It's an exciting space, don't get me wrong, but everyday I wonder where we are headed. What do you do to stay connected to the world outside our tech bubble?

    I’m not one to brag. But, My daughter and I got together to build Vive controller arm prosthetic for my left arm. Items used: sweeper handle, zip ties, towel, key clip, shoe strings, and a plastic spoon. We even got the trigger to work.
