@dougilawson I would dearly love to vote Green but I cannot face the nightmare of going back to the days of British Rail
you prefer to have your taxes badly subsidise what we have while a private company rakes off profit from sky-high fares?

I'd rather have clean trains that run on time, I don't think fares would be cheaper with nationalisation. I would prefer nationalised water

They're not and they don't. Nationalisation now would bring down fares. Or is the water so you can surf to work?
