    Tiger was 31 when he won the PGA at Southern Hills. He'll be 54 for the next PGA there. Assuming everything is on schedule, as we like to say these days.

    We played together that fall at an event in Spain. I was pretty nervous on what kind of reaction I would get from him and the galleries. He was a complete gentleman, as always, and stuck up for me a couple of times when needed. We did not talk about Brookline...

    An oversight on my mathematics: Tiger only converted 37 consecutive 54-hole leads into wins on the PGA Tour. So ... not quite as good as I thought (for those who lost sense of sarcasm during stay at home, that was a joke)
