If you're an Infocom OR a Lucasarts Games fan, you'd be completely missing out on a gold-standard rehearsed 25th anniversary LOOM post-mortem by Prof. Brian Moriarty if you don't click immediately.

BANDWIDTH BUSTERS continues with DOOM CDs. I mean, we have dozens and dozens of level CDs for DOOM and DOOM 2. Well, I mean, we do, but that's not much of a bandwidth buster, frankly.

Concept art for Sega's unreleased Virtua Hamster on the 32X. You can really tell the artist(s) were having fun here! These were found in GamePro magazine's art archives, which were very generously gifted to us. One day we hope to have this all indexed and ready to be accessed!

  15. The coolest parts are tidbits like this one, because surely I would assume that it was Sierra on the forefront of everything audio-related in the 80s, but nope

  16. Sadly the article's intro contains one of my biggest pet peeves: referring to AdLib as "MIDI music". 🙁

"Grumpy old man John Carpenter reviews stuff" should be a real show that I would totally watch:

I've been a John Carpenter fan my whole life, and he never stopped being relatable.
