@dosdude1 ...or maybe the better question is: If we have access to an installed version of High Sierra on an external SSD, is there an easy way to temporarily patch it to boot from an old machine, and fix again for new hardware later? (Your work looks amazing BTW)
I have a script you can run to completely remove all patches. You can run this after patching, and your install will be reverted back to normal. It's at http://dosdude1.com/highsierra/uninstallhsp.sh.zip …
