Is it I or Apple has no idea how to repair a MacBook Pro motherboard at component level? I am in shock. Did a fucking Apple engineer really put a damn rubber pad on top of a chip and call it a "fix"?
Ah, the classic GPU VCORE regulator bad solder joints "repair" by Apple... Absolutely ridiculous. I've fixed many of these (including my daily Mid-2012 15" Retina) by applying new solder to the chip... IDK why Apple doesn't do this... It literally takes me 5 minutes.
