This scares me, is the late 2011 13” affected by that issue? I use one on the daily and can’t afford for it to crap out on me
Just successfully replaced the GPU on this Late-2011 15" MacBook Pro at work today! Before replacement, the machine would freeze at boot on a white screen, or blue screen with lines. After replacing the chip, it now works perfectly!pic.twitter.com/J8W9ppUXhF

Yeah, that's right, it's only the 15" and 17" models that have this issue. The 13" machines don't have a dedicated GPU.

I've disabled the discreet card with a software fix. Is the GPU replacement easy enough?
