@dosdude1 thanks for the great High Sierra patch running on my macbook pro 5,1 (late 2008). I have only 2 issues: the keyboard backlight not working and the macbook not switching off but always rebooting when I use > Shut Down. Any solution available?
Not sure about the shut down issue, but if you mistakenly installed the backlight control patch on that machine, you'll need to remove it. Run the script found here to do so: http://dosdude1.com/highsierra/uninstallbkltpatch.sh.zip …
