No chime at all fans run tho
Hmm, no power at all? That's odd it would just happen randomly like that... Does the fan spin? Does it turn on with the battery disconnected? If so, any chime?

CPU VCORE IC could've gone bad... I'd have to take a look at it myself to tell for sure, though.
