@dosdude1 I used your fantastic High Sierra patcher in order to dl the full HS installer (App store would only dl the 19mb stub installer) on my recently acquired 2012 Mac Mini off ebay... when install was done, I ended up with Sierra 10.12 and not High Sierra 10.13!
Are you sure you're booting from the correct drive, and made the USB installer correctly, with the correct app? There is no way it downloaded a copy of Sierra.

Thx for the quick reply. Have NO idea how this happened but apparently I dl'd the HS installer but somehow I got the Sierra installer instead. It's fine as I can now update to 10.13 via App Store method. Just weird as I did not intentionally do this.pic.twitter.com/mrLZqgPJI4
