      I’m on your Sierra Patcher on a MB 5,1 2008 - Can I upgrade to HighSierra w/ Patcher w/o data loss or clean install a must?

      Yes, just create an installer, and install to the volume containing Sierra. Not sure if I'd advise using High Sierra as your main OS, though
