@dosdude1 Hey there Bud. I followed your tutorial on creating the Catalina LiveUSB and it worked fine. Tested it on my Macbook 82 - boots right into installer - my MacMini 3.1 hangs at Apple logo and the progress bar is not moving. Its the step at the 13:00 of your video. Advice?
Try using a different USB drive, usually that's the cause of that issue. Some machines just don't like booting from certain drives, for some reason.
@dosdude1 Tried 5 different pendrives. Different brands. Different sizes. Some USB 2.0 some 3.0 - no change. Any other ideas Bud?
Do you have an external hard disk you can try?
Will try that tonight after work altho I think I tried 2 different pendrives already.
@dosdude1 The installer for Sierra and High Sierra will boot on MacMini 3.1 but Mojave or Catalina will not. All of them boot straight into installer on MacBook 8.2... Weird. Could it be because of NVidia graphics / chipset?
