@dosdude1 Any idea on what might be wrong when an early 2009 iMac 9,1 stops with a stop sign after booting from a usb stick with your Catalina updater? I have updated the firmware.

@dosdude1 Just for clarification. Should I use GUID or Apple partition map when formatting the USB stick? I've bought five new sticks and three has failed when I use the Catalina updater. Maybe the sticks are cheap and not so good quality? -
