@dosdude1 I’ve tried your Catalina updater on a 2009 and a 2011 iMac. They both stop in the middle of the update process. I’ve tried both direct update and via booting a usb installer. Any suggestions on what I should do. I’ll be happy to provide any feedback you might need.Thank
Verified firmware is up to date on both? Catalina Patcher will tell you when running the main application on those systems.

I've checked the early 2009 iMac. It has IM91.008D.B08 which is the EFI update 1.4, which is the latest. I tried again and there's an error right after I've chosen to Install MacOS. "An error occurred during the preparation for the installation. Try to run the program again"
